Boat Captains

Estimated Pay: $10,000+ for the Summer | $30/hour
Schedule: Mondays–Wednesdays, 7am–6pm | June 9–August 25
Our captains are the heartbeat of Lake Life Adventures. You’ll be responsible for operating pontoons, jet skis, and boats while leading groups of 6–12 teens through fun, safe, and meaningful water-based experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate safety protocols and expectations prior to departure
  • Point out safety equipment and assign teen leaders
  • Reiterate propeller danger zones and safe boarding protocols
  • Enforce seated positions while watercraft is in motion
  • Establish emergency buddy systems
  • Promote respectful and responsible behavior (you’re a leader, not a babysitter)
  • Teach watercraft basics in our Learn & Earn program: docking, anchoring, passing other vessels, knot tying, and more
  • Operate watercraft for private group outings (gratuity-based: $75–$150 per event)
  • Represent Lake Life International and earn 10% commission on any referrals who sign up for events or memberships ($30–$1,000 each)
Ideal For: Strong communicators who love youth leadership, lake life, and teaching real-world skills.

Spotters

Estimated Pay: $5,000 for the Summer | $15/hour
Schedule: Mondays–Wednesdays | June 9–August 25
Spotters are the captains’ right-hand crew. They ensure every participant stays safe and engaged across all activities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Greet and check in participants at pick-up locations
  • Ride along in limo transport and help with inflatable setup/takedown
  • Watch over youth on land and water, ensuring proper lifejacket usage and safe fun
  • Relay communications between tubers and captains (e.g., speed up, slow down)
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, storage, and logistics
  • Promote Lake Life International and earn 10% commission on referrals
Ideal For: Energetic, observant, and proactive individuals who love working with youth in the outdoors.
